Great Oak Farm is a series of children's books based in a fictional landscape. The series focusses on some of the species that currently receive legislative protection, and includes those which are not as well publicised in children's literature.

The second book in the series introduces Sammy, a slow worm living near Great Oak Farm. What will happen to him and his friends when his home is developed for housing? Follow the stories of Sammy and the other animals as they overcome challenges to their habitats and, ultimately, find sanctuary within Great Oak Farm.

What a lovely and very informative book, it arrived well packaged and very quick. I like the bat information sections and the whole ethos and story behind the book. It's very important for us to make children aware of our important wildlife in order to best look after it in the future.
